Anil Chaudhry is an Energy sector veteran with over three decades of experience in energy and infrastructure segment. A strong votary of the usage of technology and smart grid initiatives, Anil brings with him extensive learning of digitisation of the power sector. Anil has recently been appointed as the CEO of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd (SEIPL) & Zone President, Schneider Electric, India. This follows the combining of Schneider Electric India’s Low Voltage and Industry Automation business with L&Ts Electrical and Automation business. Until recently, Anil was the Managing Director and Country President of Schneider Electric India, a role he took on in the year 2013. Prior to this, he was the Senior Vice President, Global Sales Organisation, Infrastructure Business and a member of the Leadership Team in Paris.
Anil champions the cause of energy efficient and green technologies and has done substantial amount of work, for French business interests worldwide with a focus on infrastructure development, sustainability & climate change, access to energy and skill development. He is determined to set new benchmarks for the usage of innovative techniques to provide world class solutions & services to customers. Anil is extremely passionate about promoting diversity & inclusion. He is also member of Women Advisory Board at Schneider Electric.
In July 2015, Anil was conferred the highest French civilian distinction – Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur (Knight of the Legion of Honour) by President of Republic of France recognising his significant contributions towards strengthening Indo-French economic relations.
In his over 30 years of experience, Anil has held leadership positions in management, operations, sales, strategy and business development with Global responsibility based out of Europe and India. Anil is an engineering graduate from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala. He further pursued an Executive Management Program from Harvard Business School, Stanford Business School and INSEAD.
