Retail, fashion and e-commerce is what excites him and he has over 18 years of experience working in leadership roles with some of the global brands like Amazon, Peter England, Tommy Hilfiger and Diesel. Driven by a passion for understanding various customer segments and channels and a strong belief in the potential of India, his roles have ranged from product and business head to supply chain and marketing, all in retail businesses in the start-up and turnaround ecosystem of the country. Vikas has worked across brands which are mass-market to bridge-to-luxury across distribution mediums.
A mechanical engineering graduate from IT-BHU and a postgraduate in business management from IIM Bangalore, Vikas has several accolades to his credit. He is a recipient of the National Young Manager award by All India Management Association; an Aditya Birla Group scholar and the ‘Leader of Leaders’ for Amazon Global.
A people’s person, Vikas understands that people aren’t replaceable nuts and bolts, but they are in fact the machine that delivers awesome customer experience. He believes in working for customers and not for managers, companies or a career.
