Jean Claude Lasserre est Le CEO Afrique de Saint-Gobain. Il est également Président du comité sud-africain des Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur et Vice-Président de la FSACCI ( Chambre de commerce). Saint-Gobain emploie plus de 1100 employés (10 usines) en Afrique du Sud dans le secteur des matériaux de construction ( plâtre, plaque de plâtre, isolation, mortiers industriels, solutions d’étanchéité, armatures métalliques, abrasifs, canalisations, verre …) servant à la fois les grands projets et le DIY.

Jean-Claude Lasserre has been CEO Africa, Saint-Gobain since 2018, overlooking operations in 12 countries with 18 manufacturing facilities within the continent. He has been working at Saint-Gobain for 25 years holding different positions from Business Development to General Management in 7 countries across Asia, Europe, South America and Africa. Jean-Claude Lasserre has spent 10 years working in Africa (Ivory Coast then South Africa) and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration & Postgraduate degree in Quantitative Marketing Saint-Gobain is a worldwide leader in Building Materials, present industrially in 70 countries with 167,000 employees, a Turnover of 40B€ and more than 350 years of history.
