Career diplomat, she joined Thales in September 2018 as Vice-President international relations.
From 2016 to 2018 she served as Ambassador of France to Slovenia after being from 2012 to 2016 Ambassador, Permanent representative of France to the United nations and international organisations in Vienna.
From 2007 to 2012 Mrs Paradas was Director for international, strategic and technological affairs in the Secrétariat général de la défense et de la sécurité nationale (SGDSN) in Paris.
She specialised herself in defence and security issues through previous experiences as Deputy Director, in charge of non-proliferation and disarmament, in the Strategic affairs department of the Ministry of defence between 2006 and 2007 and as assistant Director for chemical and biological disarmament and arms control in the Ministry of Foreign affairs (2003-2006).
Mrs Paradas had previously different functions in the Ministry of foreign affairs and served abroad in the French embassy in The Hague (Nederlands), in the French permanent mission to the UN in Geneva, in the French embassies in Jordan and Ivory Coast.
She graduated from Sciences-Po Paris and from the University of Paris II in public law.
She is knight of the Legion of Honour and officer of the national Oder of Merit.
