Daniel Himsworth

Digital & Data Partnerships Lead at Marks & Spencer

Daniel works in the Digital & Data team at M&S, managing M&S’ digital partnerships with Founders Factory (the incubator and accelerator of startup businesses launched by Brent Hoberman and Henry Lane-fox) and True (Europe’s only specialist retail and consumer vertical investor). Both partnerships are a crucial part of M&S’ digital transformation.

Daniel has worked in retail for over 20 years in PR, Communications and Crisis Management. He joined the Digital & Data team in November 2018.  

Annabelle Hackett

Business Development Manager at TransferMate

Offering better exchange rates, lower fees, a full API implementation and a Mass Payments option, TransferMate offers a smarter way to Send and Receive Business Payments.

Keen on Fintech, Annabelle has worked as a Business Development Manager on the French market for TransferMate for more than eight years. A Parisian of British origin, Annabelle has lived in Ireland for 10 years and has mainly worked with client in the retail / E-commerce sector.

Adizah Tejani

Senior Digital Innovation Manager at HSBC Retail Banking

Adizah is a product-focused technology executive having worked within the digital technologies space since 2009. Fast forward to 2018 and she has built a unique lens while working in the global technology sector. She is currently Senior Digital Innovation Manager at HSBC Retail Banking and Wealth Management. 

She was part of the founding team of Level39 a London based a technology accelerator focused on fintech products set up by the Canary Wharf Group. She has been in the London technology and startup ecosystem for the last 8 years and understands how to build relationships and strategies that add value to all partners. Adizah has worked on the rollout of digital products such as websites, billing systems and mentor matching platforms.

Over the years Adizah has worked with a number of industry leaders such as Facebook, Google, Microsoft, IBM, JP Morgan, UBS, Thomson Reuters and Accenture. Adizah has spoken internationally about the impact of technology, business and finance at a number of industry events and conferences. In 2016 Adizah was named one of the top 100 women in London by City A.M and is a regular contributor to CIO.com. In 2017 Adizah was named as one of the Inspiring 50 Europe an annual list of women changing the technology sector across Europe. She is also a technology advisor to UCL School of Management in London. 

Martin Newman 

Founder of The Customer First Group

Martin Newman is known globally as one of the foremost authorities on customer experience. Martin is a consumer champion with extensive experience of the European, US and Asia Pacific markets and the author of the bestselling book 100 Practical Ways To Improve Customer Experience, a finalist in the 2019 Business Book of the Year Awards.

During Martin’s 35 years in consumer sectors, he headed up the multichannel operations of some of the world’s leading brands including Burberry, Intersport, Pentland Brands (Speedo, Berghaus), Harrods and Ted Baker. He then founded global ecommerce and digital consultancy Practicology, before starting a new venture The Customer First Group.

Martin works with the Boards of consumer-facing businesses on their key strategic questions and challenges and is also member of the prestigious KPMG IPSOS Retail Think Tank. He has featured in Retail Week’s top 50 eTail Power List for five years in a row and been named in the Retail Insiders top 100 Retail Movers & Shakers list for a number of years consecutively as well as the British Vogue Online Fashion 100.

Aurélie Baquiast

Head of Financial Institutions Risk at Barclays BBIe

Aurélie is a 15-year experienced banking professional, specialised in risk management. She is currently the Head of the Financial institutions risk team at Barclays Europe and is now based in Dublin after spending most of her career at Barclays in London.

She believes joining the Board of experts of the Fintech tour give her the chance to interact with players of a fast growing industry and listen to the risk, challenges and opportunities that they face.

Matteo Scarabelli

Head of Investment at L Marks

Matteo currently works as Head of Investment at L Marks, an investment and innovation advisory firm, specialising in applied corporate innovation. Matteo has 10 years’ experience working with and investing in early-stage B2B and B2B2C digital businesses with a track record in SAAS cross-industry. He has a broad experience as operator in small scaling organisations, in portfolio companies’ management at board level, helping with strategy skillset and a broad network in the European tech ecosystem.

Tom Shinkwin

General Partner at Enterprise Equity Venture Capital

Tom is a General Partner with Enterprise Equity, Ireland’s longest established VC firm, with 4 offices throughout the country and he is based in Dublin. 

Tom works closely with the Boards of a number of investee companies in the software and mobile communications areas including Alpha Wireless, Polecat, Phorest, and previously with Movidius (acquired by Intel), Converser (acquired by Swrve). Tom is also a director of the Irish Venture Capital Association and a member of Invest Europe.

Tom has over twenty years experience covering banking, property and early stage technology sectors. His expertise includes corporate finance and M&A, as well as working with and investing in new start-ups and established businesses. 

He worked for many years in London and Dublin with Morgan Stanley and Ulster Bank (RBS) Group, as well as in the past with a civil engineering contractor and was co-founder of an active boutique corporate advisory firm. 

Serge Bodjrenou

ICT Sector Specialist at Bpifrance

Serge Bodjrenou is an expert in ICT (Information and Communications Technology) with a broad experience acquired from telco operators, manufacturers, and public authorities. During the last 15 years, Serge has developed a sound and in-depth experience in the technology sector with credentials in architecture, engineering, business, strategy, and public policy. With a great focus on analytics, Serge loves financial and economic topics and has acquired extensive knowledge in financial and economic modelling. Currently ICT sector specialist at Bpifrance, his expertise is focused on Telco, Fintech, and Blockchain. Serge graduated from Telecom Sud Paris and Cnam.

Anne Dessemond

Trade Development Manager at Business France

After graduating from Sheffield Hallam University,  Anne joined Business France and supported French digital startups to expand successfully into the UK market. Following 6 great years working as a team lead, she is currently working at the Paris HQ to link tech companies and ecosystems with our worldwide network of experts while coordinating acceleration programs worldwide for retail, finance and culture tech companies.
