Domaine Turpin is a family farm of 16 ha situated in the Center Loire Valley and has been established in Morogues since 1960. The Turpin family represents a long lineage of winemakers and works passionately in the service of their customers. Morogues is considered the best of the 10 Menetou-Salon AOP-designated villages because of its specific terroir composed of clay and limestone, more specifically, kimmeridgian marne, which gives the wines their distinguished taste. The winery uses regulated stainless steel tanks in to control the aging process. Some cuvées are aged in wooden barrels – oak for red and acacia for white.  The wines are dry, light and fruity and are  regularly mentioned in the Hachette wine guide.  Domaine Turpin produces three types of wines, totaling about 100, 000 bottles per year.
